We Just finished building our dream home in February of 2020. It was everything we hoped for and more. As everyone knows a few months later we were in the heat of covid. Unsure of everything, falling into depression, I turned to our animals for comfort. I had always wanted an array of animals once our barn was built. In October 2020 we went to Holmes county to enjoy some outdoor time and I fell in love with the Nigerian Dwarf breed. We started the process with the county to get the permits we needed. Over the course of this we were told our 5.01 acres was actually deemed residentia! No way. How did we not know this. The farmer that parceled the lots on our road as residential lots and named it Holloway Hills. This slowed up our permit process which, then slowed up us being able to order the trusses. We thought our barn would be finished soon so we brought home two adorable does and made them a pen in the garage. Of course, supplies took longer than expected and our barn wasn’t finished till January. By this time I had 4 goats in the garage and my husband thought I was crazy! We built our barn to be more of our party barn for our family to hang out in. The goats definitely made the parties entertaining! . I had an idea that I wanted to help others that may need to cuddle a goat, have a reason for adult time, or enjoy a different way for yoga. I feel everyone needs to Let It All Goooat sometimes!
This is how Hardy’s Holloway Hills Ranchette was born. 3x H Ranchette for short.
